Which products can you roast ?
As a 3rd party manufacturer, FCD SYSTEM can roast the following products:
- Hazelnuts
- Almonds
- Peanuts (w/ or w/out skin)
- Sesame
- Cashews
- Walnuts
How do you roast exactly ?
We use 2 roasters developed internnaly for our third party roasting service on grain, nuts,
cocoa. Our extensive experience in building and using our own equipment allows us to get you
the best finished product.
Can you dry the material ?
Yes, we can heat any given solid at a chosen temperature for a certain amount of time while
mixing it. Therefore, we have successfully dried vanilla (for milling) and to ensure a stable,
perfectly controlled moisture afterwards.
Do you offer blending additionnally to your roasting service ?
We do! we are equiped with stainless steel blenders, makes us one the main players in the food
industry, as well as a reliable partner and roasting subcontractor.
What about fragile products ?
So far, very fragile products are tricky and even though our batch roasters do not break much
the materials, there is a 0.5% breakage. However our new Continuous roaster Roastinstep will
provide a much better option for nut roasting. Roastinstep will soon be available at our
production site for testing and production (2021).
